This webinar will provide the attendee with a refresher on fall protection in the workplace. It will address both general industry and construction. A few select videos and photographs will be used to illustrate specific points regarding fall protection.

Mark Hansen

Mark Hansen has over 35 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environmental (SH&E) and Risk and Quality Management. He has worked in a variety of industrial sectors including oil and gas, chemical, service, utilities and insurance. He has extensive knowledge and experience in many aspects of SH&E, operational risk management and financial analysis and ISO 45001. Hansen holds a BS degree in Psychology and a MS degree in Industrial Engineering, both from Texas A&M University. He is a PE, a CSP, a CPEA, a CPSA, and a CPE. He has authored over 250 publications in journals, magazines, proceedings, chapters in books, has written four books and is working on his fifth. Hansen is a past president and fellow of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSP) and is the Founder and Chairman of the Business of Safety Committee. He is the past recipient of the Edgar-Queeny Monsanto Safety Professional of the Year Award in 1992-1993 and the Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service Award in 1991-1992 issued by ASSP.
